The PhD program “Responsible Artificial Intelligence in the Digital Society” invites applications for PhD Scholarships for the Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Context of Digital Transformation.

The PhD program is a coordinated effort of the Research Centre L3S, Leibniz University Hannover, Technical University Braunschweig and Hannover University of Applied Sciences and Arts. Involved disciplines are computer science, law and sociology. The goal of the PhD program is the interdisciplinary education of young scientists in the highly topical field of Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on explainability and justification, discrimination and bias, interpretability, quality assurance and security and data protection.
