A study on the demographics of experienced developers and system administrators

In this study, the computer security department at Leibniz University Hannover, the CISPA Helmholtz-Center for Information Security, the Max Planck Institute for Security and Privacy and the Tufts University in the US conducts a research survey about participant sampling in security studies.

We want to examine the participant demographics from different sources like universities, Github, Google Play etc. For this purpose, we are searching for people with an IT-background or experience as software developers or system administrators.

In this survey, we will ask you a series of questions about your experience, job, workplace, and general demographics. It should take approximately 15 minutes to complete. All responses from the survey are anonymized for evaluation.

Our research relies on the generous help of interested developers and administrators!
