Developer Research Survey
In this study, the computer security department at Leibniz University Hannover investigates how developers write secure code. We examine if developers’ language proficiency has any impact on the same. For this purpose, we conduct online surveys with developers who have experience in secure programming. We ask them about their experiences, perceptions, challenges, and concerns while writing secure code. Additionally, we also ask questions regarding language proficiency of the developers. The survey will take approximately 25-30 minutes to complete. All responses from the survey are anonymized for evaluation.
